Chalkboard Tags from Target

The Chalkboard tags are available in the Target value section for $1/pkg. *6 in a pkg.

At that price you can pick up several for future DIY projects. How about using them as napkin name tags? Or ornaments with family names on them?

Wow! I do need to get a few more packs so I get working on these ideas!

When I'm not feeling well, one of the activities that I really enjoy is making and baking cakes from scratch!

One could say it's the process that's helpful when dealing with a pain flare because I need to be focused.

It also could be the scent of vanilla and sugar being whipped in the big yellow mixing bowl with my turquoise Kitchen Aid hand mixer renewing. Bright colors and yummy scents give me a much needed lift.

The final results are always delicious and rewarding!

Homemade Starlight Yellow Cake with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

I've been under the weather lately due to the weather change affecting my pain. I still love fall and rainy weather.

When I started feeling better, I decided to make a cake and frosting from scratch. There's something about making a cake that's very relaxing for me.
