Pinterest: Halloween

As soon as October 1st rolls around, it's time to get out the Halloween decorations, buy some candy and think about wearing a costume.

I also love to browse Pinterest. People are just so dang creative. I have such fun checking out the family and individual Halloween costumes. Oh, and the dog and cat costumes are so cute!

Follow Rona Berry-Morin's board Halloween on Pinterest.

Gwynnie Bee: Karen Kane Carpet Paisley Top

Recently, I decided to start adding some fall pieces to my Gwynnie Bee virtual closet. Now if only the temps would start getting more seasonal! It's still around 90 degrees but being inside, with the AC, it's 70 degrees!

Here's how I would wear the Karen Kane Carpet Paisley top. I paired it with my Old Navy jean jacket, Target skinny pants, tall boots and fun accessories.

In this pairing, I chose my faithful Target black jacket. Since the jacket is more fitted, it helps to give shape to the top.

Ramblings of a Suburban Mom

Relatives of the real life ‘Aunt Jemima’ are suing Quaker Oats for $2 billion on the grounds that they’ve been shorted revenue guaranteed in a forgotten agreement from the late 1800s.

Quaker Oats states that 'Aunt Jemina' isn't based on a real person and that the contract never existed! While the family state that the company used the likeness of Anna Short Harrington. Sounds like it's going to be a long court case.

All I can say is that she must be so glad to have it removed!

Raven Symone states she doesn't want to be labeled. All I can say is good for her. I'm tired about all of the labeling people want to put on a person. Keep on keeping on Raven!

Online dating has become the norm with 40 million Americans perusing the internet for cyber-connections. But what do you do when you keep getting ignored?

Oh man! I wouldn't have thought this could ever happen. All I can say is bummer.

Chronic Pain Sufferer: "We Have A Voice"

As a chronic pains sufferer of 14 years, I've experienced great darkness and joy during this journey. I feel, sometimes, that the public, government and medical don't hear us.

When it comes to 100 million Americans, who suffer from chronic pain, our voice should be loud! Let us be heard. Let's demand better education to all aspects of medical and health.

Most important, we have a voice! "Let's us be heard"! ************************

The Couch And Ottoman Are Clean!

I had a bout of fatigue this morning but once it finally passed I decided to turn on the TV, watch some QVC and clean the couch and ottoman. It really does look so much better!

Gwynnie Bee: Spruce & Sage Watercolor Floral Shift Dress

Gwynnie Bee selections seem to arrive just when I need a boost! Today, I'm wearing the Spruce & Sage Watercolor Floral Shift Dress. This colorful designed would be perfect for work or a lunch date. It's lined and requires very little accessories.

Even though it's October, it's still warm enough in Las Vegas, to wear open-toed sandals.

Polyester/Spandex makes this dress a definite go-to. Because of the slight fitted design, I did put on shapewear, to give this dress smooth lines.

Gwynnie Bee, women clothing subscription, is still offering a 30 day free trial. Check it out today!

HuffPost Live: The Best Cities For Couples narrowed down the top cities for couples, based on cities with populations of at least 75,000, where more than 25 percent of households are rental properties and where the crime rate was lower or equal to the national average.

Did your city make the list?

Did You Watch "Inspector Lewis" On PBS Sunday Night?

Yes, Inspector Lewis is back but he's not in charge. Just in case you need a reminder, Lewis put his retirement papers in at the Season 6 finale. This time, he's been asked to come back, part time, as more of a consultant to various teams. Hathaway has returned from his sabbatical, has been promoted and has a new partner.

Since I wasn't feeling well, my husband joined me to watch Season 7, Episode 1, Entry Wounds while I was resting. And I think he became a fan!

Volupties Underwear Subscription Is In The House! September 2014

Volupties offers an underwear subscription service for curvy ladies, for $12 a month plus shipping. When you join, you provide your underwear size and each month you will receive 3 pairs of quality sexy underwear from well-known brands!

Here's how my Volupties package arrived in the mail today. The small plastic bag actually fit perfectly in our mailbox. A plus for me because I didn't have to stop by the apartment manager's office to pick it up.

I just love this month's selections. Great colors, sexy and fun. Just the thing one needs to help 'heat up a cold autumn night'.

My Chronic Pain Journey Thus Far

Over these 14 years of living with Chronic Pain, in my best Betty Davis voice, "It's definitely been a long and bumping ride". No surprise, my pain conditions have evolved as I have gotten older. Some symptoms have disappeared, like years of migraine headaches. While new ones have popped up, like the arthritic pain that's been developing in my hands this year.

This year, I've experience 3 visits to ER, with a hospital stay due to erratic blood pressure and increase pain. The conclusion, after several tests, no conclusion. I was sent home and advised to follow up with my primary.

My body is exhausted and more prone for infections, like colds, flu. And with the additional stress my Hidradenitis Suppurativa has been on overdrive. It's a vicious cycle and first thing I need to do is 'calm things down'.

So, what's the plan? No new medications or procedures have been ordered. As my own health advocate, I'm planning on pursuing a holistic wellness, as well as therapy, to deal with the anxiety and stress. Hopefully, that will bring many of symptoms stable.
